Patterns

A pierced panel carrying the pattern: a room divider, a floor-to-ceiling screen, a window screen, a stair guard, a wall facing, or a run that crosses a long wall.

Every panel is a commission. I draw the pattern for the space it goes into rather than pulling one off a shelf, and you see it standing in your own room before anything gets made.

The smallest version of the same work. A single piece of the pattern is cut from aluminum or brass and sized to the body, so what reads as a whole field on a wall reads as one fragment of it in the hand.
