Scenic Paint
Six years on major film and television features and series, 2019 through 2024, and back on a feature in 2026.
On a stage, a set is handed to paint as bare luan walls. Everything after that is ours: taping, mudding, plastering, painting, wallpapering, whatever the surface has to become. A fancy casino, a sheriff's office, a run-down hotel room, all from the same bare walls and all completely different work.
On location it runs the other way. We are in a real hotel, or someone's home, or an alley between two buildings, and the script needs something that is not there, so we build it. Then paint has to make that new piece disappear into the place around it.
