Return & Refund Policy

A piece should belong with its buyer. If something genuinely doesn't suit — fit, finish, or pattern — Algorista honors returns within thirty days of delivery. Return shipping is the buyer's responsibility; damaged or wrong-piece arrivals are an exception (see below).
How to return a piece
Email algoristanm@gmail.com within thirty days of delivery to start a return. The studio will reply with the return address and any tracking notes.
Pack the piece in its original mailer if possible, or any padded envelope that protects the work. Drop at the post office. Standard return shipping is the buyer's cost.
Refunds
A refund is processed within five business days of the return arriving back in Madrid, returned to the original payment method.
Damaged or wrong items
If a piece arrives broken or the order shipped wrong, email algoristanm@gmail.com with a photo. Algorista covers return shipping and ships a replacement on the next Thursday at no additional charge — or refunds in full, whichever the buyer prefers.
Exchanges
Algorista does not handle direct exchanges. If a different piece would be a better fit, the cleanest path is a return for refund followed by a separate order — this keeps the studio's small inventory honest and gets the new piece on the next shipping day.
In-person purchases
The same policy covers pieces bought at the Madrid Farmers' Market or at a show. Email algoristanm@gmail.com within thirty days to start a return by mail.
